Back Wall

  • 36 - Blues Power

    Grade: 5a | First Ascent: -1988

    Climb the wall to a large ledge, then surmount the overhang above by a layback and continue to the top.

  • 37 - Back Wall Left

    Grade: 4c | First Ascent: (1975-79)
    Rating: 1

    Climb the left crack and continue up the wider crack/groove above.

  • 38 - Pugged

    Grade: 5c | First Ascent: -1988
    Rating: 0

    Climb in an eliminate fashion between the two cracks. Finish as for the route on either side.

  • 39 - Back Wall Right

    Grade: 4b | First Ascent: -1978
    Rating: 0

    The right-hand crack leads to a break. The wall right of the crack/groove of Back Wall Left provides a good finish.

  • 40 - Pop

    The end of the wall has a short crack.

  • 41 - The Ceiling

    A good roof problem. The roof has `Loose` painted beneath it. It is not, we hope!!

  • 42 - Girdle Traverse

    Grade: 5a | First Ascent: -1978
    Rating: 0

    A girdle traverse starting as for Diamond Solitaire or Layaway wall gives 5a climbing across to the arĂȘte left of Hand-jam Crack. Various ways can be followed to The Corner; high (5c) or low (5a) leads to the ledge of Little Cameo. Go around the arĂȘte and follow the break to finish down (or up) Cavalier.
