Back Wall

  • 23 - Back in the Swing

    Grade: 5c | First Ascent: -1982
    Rating: 1

    The left-hand crackline.

  • 24 - Voting Age

    Grade: 6a | First Ascent: -1982
    Rating: 1

The right-hand crackline gives excellent climbing.

  • 25 - Flaked Maze

    Grade: 6b | First Ascent: -1986
    Rating: 0

Climb the wall past a peg with a sling (sling not in place).

  • 26 - Late Finish

    Grade: 5b | First Ascent: -1982
    Rating: 0

Climb a thin crack to a small square-cut overhang. Go over this and continue up ledges in the same line. Bold and poorly-protected.

  • 27 - Avoidance

    Grade: | First Ascent: (Pre-1986)
    Rating: 0

A line of unstable flakes and blocks lead from right to left starting just right of Late Finish. Probably best avoided!

  • 28 - A Question of Balance

    Grade: 5c | First Ascent: -1982
    Rating: 2

An interesting technical outing. The obvious corner leads to the overhang. Go over this and up to ledges and a block belay.

  • 29 - Commitment

    Grade: 5c | First Ascent: -1982
    Rating: 1

Climb a wall below a slabby corner. Enter this, then gain a niche and follow a crack to good nut belays on the right.

  • 30 - Dodged It

    Grade: 5a | First Ascent: -1982
    Rating: 0

Climb Commitment for a few metres and deviate right to a good ledge. A delicate move then gains the crack right of the niche, which is followed to a steep finish. Nut belay on left.
