Low Wall

  • 50 - Nothing to Say

    Grade: 5c | First Ascent: (1986-87)
    Rating: 0

A direct line up the middle of the wall, to finish at a large yew tree.

  • 51 - Tom`s Traverse

    Grade: 6b | First Ascent: -1985
    Rating: 0

From a prow in the middle of the wall, take a descending line rightwards, starting along a thin horizontal crack. Very sustained.

  • 52 - The Hand-Traverse

    Grade: 6a | First Ascent: -1996
    Rating: 1

Start at an embedded block at the far left of the overhangs and traverse right with hands at about three metres or slightly less to the slanting tree at the far right. A classic fitness test, providing that the feet are not used at all.

  • 52a - Low-level Start

    Grade: 6b | First Ascent: -1995
    Rating:

Take a slightly lower line than the parent route to join it at a good horizontal slot just under the lip of the overhang.

  • 53 - Any Questions

    Grade: 4c | First Ascent: (1974-75)
    Rating: 0

The wall immediately to the left of the overhangs is taken direct.
