The prominent, overhung groove between the two walls, which has a peg low down, proves difficult at the bulge. Follow the slabby upper section and exit on the left.

Two metres to the right is a thin peg-scarred crack. Climb this to a finish up Stadium.

Start two metres farther right and climb the cracked wall above the right-hand side of a letter-box at three metres.

  • 15 - Bolton Staircase

    Grade: 4a | First Ascent: (Pre-1997)
    Rating: 0

Start three metres to the right. Climb up to a ledge, then move right to a short corner and climb the blunt rib on the right using sloping holds. This route may become easier with cleaning.
