Grade: VD First Ascent: (Pre-1991) Rating: Zero Stars Start immediately to the right of the ash. Climb the slab and shallow depression up to the left, finishing directly above the tree.
(36) The Chopping Block
Grade: VD First Ascent: (Pre-1991) Rating: Zero Stars Start two metres to the right and take a direct line over steep rock to the obvious block at the top.
(37) Cracked Groove
Grade: VD First Ascent: -1974 Rating: Zero Stars Start two metres to the right at a shallow depression. Climb this and the wall above to finish.
(38) Speedy Recovery
Grade: S 4a First Ascent: (Pre-1991) Rating: Zero Stars Start on the right at a slightly lower level immediately right of some blocks. Climb the steep wall to a bulge and follow the short ragged crack to the top.
(39) The Ashes
Grade: D First Ascent: (Pre-1991) Rating: Zero Stars Start one metre to the right below twin saplings. Climb the wall and crack above on good holds.
(40) Ash Gully
Grade: M First Ascent: (Pre-1991) Rating: Zero Stars Climb the gully containing an ash.
